Locations where Class 3.2 or 4 substances are present [Reg. 82 Hazardous Substances (Class 1- 5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

Locations where Class 5.1.1 or 5.1.2 substances are present [Reg. 98 Hazardous Substances (Class 1- 5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

Locations where Class 5.2 substances are present [Reg. 120 Hazardous Substances( Class 1- 5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

Existing stationary container systems for which a compliance plan is in effect [Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004, Schedule 8 clause 104]

Existing stationary container systems including above ground and below ground tanks [Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004, Schedule 8, clause 92]

Limitations: The approval is limited to:

* storage in bulk of class 2.1.1 substances to a maximum of 500kg in cylinders or storage of packaged goods

* storage in bulk of class 3.1 substances to a maximum of 5000 litres or storage of packaged goods

* storage in bulk of classes 5.1.1 or 5.1.2 substances to a maximum of 500kg in cylinders or storage of packaged goods

The following limitations apply to all Stationary Container System approvals:

The approval is limited to existing stationary container systems installed prior to April 2004.

The approval is limited to below ground tanks have a maximum capacity of 60,000 L (aggregate total) per tank used to contain a class 3.1 hazardous liquid.

The approval is limited to above and below ground LPG vessels (for which a valid PECPR certificate of inspection is in place) to a maximum capacity of 12,000 litres (water capacity) per tank.

Aquainnz Ltd can issue Approved Handler Certificates for:

Handlers in control of class 2, 3 or 4 substances [Reg. 56 Hazardous Substances (Class 1-5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

Handlers in control of class 5.1.1 or 5.1.2 substances [Reg. 89 Hazardous Substances (Class 1-5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

Handlers in control of class 5.2 substances [Reg. 107 Hazardous Substances (Class 1-5 Controls) Regulations 2001]

Handlers in control of class 6, 8 or 9 substances (including pesticides) [Reg. 9 Hazardous Substances (Classes 6, 8 and 9 Controls) Regulations 2001]

Limitations: The approval does not include handlers in control of the use of vertebrate toxic agents, fumigants and veterinary medicines.
